House Warming!

I spent most of the day cleaning up my yard. I have a walnut tree in the back and it creates quite the mess, but I have to admit I like doing yard work! It was a beautiful sunny day and I raked and weeded while listening to some of my favourite music. It made for a great day.

Anyway, this reminded me that I never posted about my housewarming party. This summer was a bit of a blur with lots of things on the go and somehow that post got missed. A big thanks to my mom and dad who helped enormously in making the day a success. My dad finished all my little projects for him without any complaints...just painted, cut, drilled, hung, etc. Mom worked her little pitootie off in the kitchen, making sure food and beverage were constantly available.

It was great to see so many friends and family and I hope everyone comes back to visit. But not all at once... :)
